We sat by the pool daily with absolutely no complaints. What a friendly, hardworking, entertaining man! He made us feel at home. The pool bar opens at 10:00 and we were ready, like I said, we are from Wisconsin. My wife and I are the elders of the group, so we were designated to “not reserve pool chairs”, it’s not supposed to happen, but does. A mix of ocean view, garden view, and swim out. Easy process, walked to our room to find our luggage already there. We were welcomed with damp towels, to wipe off the where you came from dust, and sparkling wine while we waited to get checked in. Reminded me of Frank Griffin from the TV show The Family Guy. The representative who presented the package was very charming but his supervisor was in a word "a goof". Only complaint was the manipulation of guests to listen to a lifetime vacation presentation.
Transportation required if you wanted to go in to neighbouring town.
If you are wanting to chill out only, this was a great place to do it. Would have played if price was better or got good deal through resort. Beautiful course but the fees to play were outrageous. Golf course bordering resort but is not part of the resort. Coco cafe served outstanding tuna salad sliders! 2.0/5 for golf. Best meals were at Portofino and Hmitsu restaurants. Biggest drawback was the beach area as it was unsafe to swim. Exceptional service! 4.5/5 for overall condition of facilities. Shout out to Alberto Flores, our pool waiter. 5/5 for customer service as all employees were courteous and went out of their way to fulfill your needs.
